MTZ Award

The MTZ^®-Award for Systems Medicine 2026 is awarded by the MTZ^® Foundation and is intended to recognize outstanding doctoral theses of young scientific excellence in systems medicine that have achieved groundbreaking research results of the highest quality in the field of systems-oriented health research and enable young researchers to gain special visibility and public recognition.

Requirement for the application is a successfully defended dissertation in the field of systems medicine between February 2024 and January 2026.

In total 15.000€ in prize money will be distributed between three successful candidates intended to support their further scientific career.

Application deadline is 31. January 2026

Award ceremony on 4. May 2026
