- Coordination of the biobank and sample logistics of the working group for LiSyM-Cancer, including the processing and distribution of human liver and tumor tissue as well as primary liver cells to consortium partners

- Investigation of steatosis and metabolic alterations in primary human hepatocytes as well as human liver tissue models
- Isolation and in vitro culture of primary human liver cells
- Molecular biological, immunofluorescence microscopy, and biochemical analyses to investigate gene expression, protein expression, lipid metabolism, and cell function
