The SBMC 2024 is an on-site event taking place at the Paulinum – University Church of St. Paul. The Paulinum is the resurrected intellectual and spiritual center of Leipzig University. Architecturally reminiscent of the university church demolished in 1968, it houses numerous art treasures that were saved from destruction.
As a venue for academic events, university church services, concerts and events with partners, the Paulinum functions as church as well as university hall and is a stimulating meeting place for university members, academia and visitors from all over the world.
The event venue is barrier-free.

The Paulinum is located at the Augustusplatz in the heart of Leipzig. Numerous hotels can be found in short walking distance.

Train
Leipzig Main Station (Leipzig Hauptbahnhof) is the central train station in the city. From the main station, you can use the tram, or walk to the Paulinum at Augustusplatz.
Tram
The nearest tram stop is "Augustusplatz." Tram lines 4, 7, 8, 11, 12, 15 and 34 serve this stop from all directions of Leipzig. Check the schedule and routes of your specific line to find the best connection (https://www.l.de/en/mobility/).
Car
Convenient parking is available at the "Parkhaus Augustusplatz" (Augustusplatz Parking Garage).
Plane
If you're arriving by plane, you will likely land at Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ). From there, you can use public transportation to get to the Paulinum at Augustusplatz. Additionally, Leipzig is well-connected to major airports like Berlin and Frankfurt. You can fly into either Berlin or Frankfurt and then continue your journey by train to Leipzig.
